For the fourth consecutive year, AHA sponsored the Annual Congressional Black Caucus Spouses’ Community Breakfast and Health Fair for disadvantaged men and women, held last week at Shiloh Baptist Church during the CBC Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Priscilla Ross, AHA senior associate director of federal relations, welcomed the crowd and joined members of Congress and their spouses in serving a hearty breakfast to the guests, who also received podiatric and dental screenings by Howard University Hospital and Dental Clinic, flu shots, personal care items, haircuts and other complimentary services at the health fair.
