HHS announces grants for HIV/AIDS mental health, substance use services
Non-profit organizations can apply for grants ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 each to strengthen and better integrate mental health and substance use prevention, treatment and recovery services for underserved racial and ethnic minority populations living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS, the Department of Health and Human Services announced Friday. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration expects to award the $43.7 million in grants this fall through three programs.
